Candles: Getting The Most From Them
Candles can be a great way to pep up the look of that special corner of the room or to light up the room in a very natural way. It gives an old world look and also sets a very warm romantic mood to the atmosphere. However, there are several problems with maintaining candles and getting the best services out of them. There are always problems like candles not lasting for a long time, the wick getting broken, black stains forming across the candle and so on. These mainly occur due to neglect in upkeep of stored candles.
One should always use a candle snuffer and not blow or pinch the wick to stop the flame. Doing so may result in prevention of damage to the wick resulting in better flames the next time one light them. Candles should be stored only in cold places and not out in the heat. They should be wrapped in white tissue papers to prevent the colours from bleeding into the candle.
